Conversions

The conversions report captures the conversion rate of particular offers. You can choose the offer you wish to display in the graph in the dropdown in the middle of the header. You can also select the period you want to view in the dropdown to the right of offer type. Impressions, conversions and conversion rate in the upper left-hand corner of the graph show the total statistics for the period selected. Below the graph, there is a breakdown of the conversion performance of terms within the offer selected.

As you scroll, you can see additional breakdowns by template the offer was displayed in, pages it was viewed on, number of times an individual user was exposed to an offer and the device on which the offer was displayed. Offer performance by tags associated with the pages where an offer was displayed, geography of where users viewed and/or converted on an offer and campaign code associated with an offer are also tracked.

All sections can be sorted by clicking on the header name. Note that some sections, like Pages, have additional entries that can be seen by clicking the arrows in the upper right-hand corner of the section. You can also preview templates and view specific pages by clicking on them in the list. The Conversions report methodology focuses on how many impressions a given offer had, across web pages, before it converted into a subscription. The Conversion Rate is always against the overall offers.

All offers

This is the default setting for the report. Every offer and term is available for the report view. If an offer is available, it can be selected against to all you to view the available data.

MMM DD, YYYY - MMM DD, YYYY

This is the date range for the report, based on a simple start and end date by day.

XXXX Impressions

This is the total number of impressions per user within the given time period. If a single user views 9 templates, a total of 9 impressions would be generated for that single user.

XXXX Conversions

This is the total number of conversions out of the total impressions within the given period.

XXXX% Conversion rate

This is the total number of conversions divided by the total number of impressions.

Total Performance of All Terms in the Offer

This shows the breakdown for items used to calculate the conversion rate, by term

  • Term - The Terms included in the date range for the report.
  • Offers - The total number of Offers within the Term included in the date range for the report.
  • Resource - The Resource unlocked by the Term included in the date range for the report.
  • Conversions - The total conversions, by Term type included in the date range for the report. The percentage reflects conversions divided impressions.

Templates

This shows the breakdown of conversions by Template.

  • Name - This is the name of the Template that converted within the date range for the report.
  • Conversions - The total conversions, by Template included in the date range for the report.
  • CNVR - Conversions, represented by a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided impressions.

% Promotions

This shows all the Promotions that are included in the Conversions covered by the date range in the report. If a particular conversion had a Promotion associated with it, it will appear here.

  • Name - This displays the name of the promotion.
  • CNVR - Conversions, represented by a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided impressions.

Pages

This is a breakdown of all the Conversions included in the date range by web page.

  • URL - This is the URL of the webpages included in the Conversion calculation.
  • Conversions - This is the total number of conversions on that particular web page.
  • CNVR - This is the Conversion rate for the webpage expressed as a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided by impressions.

Device Breakdown

This shows how the Conversions within the date range breakdown by device.

  • Device Type - This shows the general category of devices within the timeframe. The device types are desktop, mobile and tablet. Desktop shows any laptop or desktop device. Mobile is designated for phone handsets. Tablets are designated for Tablets. The basis for deciding between Mobile and Tablet is based on screen size.
  • Conversions - This is the total number of conversions by Device Type.
  • CNVR - This is the Conversion rate for the device types expressed as a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided by impressions.

Geography

This shows how the Conversions within the date range breakdown by country.

  • Country - This shows the country of origin for the conversion.
  • Conversions - This is the total number of conversions by Country.
  • CNVR - This is the Conversion rate for the device types expressed as a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided by impressions.

Tags

This shows how the Conversions within the date range breakdown by tag. The Tags that are displayed in the Tag report are also included under the label 'tags'

  • Tags - This shows any tags associated with each conversion.
  • Conversions - This is the total number of conversions by Tag.
  • CNVR - This is the Conversion rate for the Tags expressed as a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided by impressions.

Campaign Codes

This shows how the Conversions within the date range breakdown by tag.

  • Campaign Code - This shows the country of origin for the conversion.
  • Conversions - This is the total number of conversions by Campaign Code.
  • CNVR - This is the Conversion rate for the Campaign Codes expressed as a percentage. The percentage reflects conversions divided by impressions.
